Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc grabbed the lead from pole position in Turn 1 and led all the way to win the 29-lap Vietnam GP run at the Australian GP virtual circuit. Due to the F1 2019 video game not having the Hanoi track that was due to hold the Vietnam Grand Prix this weekend, the virtual race was instead run around Melbourne’s Albert Park Street Circuit

  2020 Schedule revised again
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES announced several calendar updates today following the cancellation of the Detroit Grand Prix due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Two previously scheduled events will become doubleheaders along with the addition of a third weekend of racing at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With these additions, there are 15 races on the 2020 INDYCAR calendar, an increase of one event from the 14 races announced on March 26.

William Byron earned victory in Sunday’s Food City Showdown for the eNASCAR iRacing Pro invitational Series at virtual Bristol Motor Speedway. For the second week in a row, the driver of the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet dominated in the virtual racing series that is following the NASCAR Cup Series schedule that has been paused due the COVID-19 pandemic.

  Ferrari driver wins F1 eSports race run on alternate track
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc grabbed the lead from pole position in Turn 1 and led all the way to win the 29-lap Vietnam GP run at the Australian GP virtual circuit. Leclerc gradually extended his lead from start to finish to win by 14-seconds over Christian Lundgaard with Williams drivers George Russell rounding out the podium in the third. Arthur Leclerc was 4th in the 2nd Ferrari with Alfa Romeo driver Antonio Giovinazzi rounding out the top-5
Byron dominates Bristol NASCAR iRacing crashfest
  Leads 116 of 150 laps
Hendrick Motorsports #24 Chevy driver William Byron won the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series Invitational Food City Showdown presented by M&M’s at virtual Bristol Motor Speedway in dominating fashion.  After leading the first 73 laps, the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet driver took the lead back from Chris Buescher with 42 laps remaining and never looked back. John Hunter Nemechek finished second and Timmy Hill finished third.

Team Penske rookie Scott McLaughlin in the Shell Penske Chevy held of Penske Teammate Will Power in the Verizon Penske Chevy to win the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama IndyCar iRacing virtual race Saturday. Scott Speed in the #98 Andretti Honda was third ahead of Alex Palou in 4th with Simon Pagenaud rounding out the top-5. 
Hyundai reveals more details of its Prophecy Concept EV

Hyundai Motor has revealed more details of its Prophecy Concept EV. In a new walk-around video, Hyundai Motor Group’s Chief Design Officer Luc Donckerwolke explains some of the key features inside and outside the vehicle. Prophecy received its digital premiere last month. Rather than being a pure concept, its name refers to the fact that this vehicle teasers ideas and features Hyundai will develop in the future.
Virtual Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama Preview
  29 drivers go at it today at 2:30pm
The INDYCAR iRacing Challenge, a virtual racing event featuring a full field of NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers, continues Saturday, April 4 with the Virtual Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama presented by AmFirst beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET at Barber Motorsports Park. The event, which will last approximately 60 minutes, will be broadcast live on NBCSN. The NBC broadcasting team of Leigh Diffey, Townsend Bell and Paul Tracy will call the action.
IndyCar rivals to develop joint EVs
  GM and Honda
IndyCar engine manufacturer rivals General Motors and Honda have agreed to jointly develop two all-new electric vehicles for Honda, based on GM’s highly flexible global EV platform powered by proprietary Ultium batteries. The exteriors and interiors of the new EVs will be exclusively designed by Honda, and the platform will be engineered to support Honda’s driving character. 
Aston Martin F1 Team Gearing up for 2021
  Racing Point Renamed to Aston Martin
Lawrence StrollAston Martin’s return to Formula 1 is confirmed.  The 2021 season will see one of the greatest car brands, Aston Martin, return to the grid as a works F1 team, continuing to operate  from its base in Silverstone. On Monday 30th of March, the shareholders of Aston Martin Lagonda approved a ÂŁ536m fundraising, underpinned by an injection of ÂŁ260m of new capital from Yew Tree Consortium - a group of investors led by Lawrence Stroll.  As part of this investment Mr. Stroll will become Executive Chairman of Aston Martin and Aston Martin will create its own works F1 racing team.
