top-five and 23 top-ten finishes. He won two poles and
won back to back races on two occasions. |

quite recover. |

A
very good season for Stewart, especially after he turned up the
heat starting in April. But he couldn't quite keep up the
consistency needed to bring home the championship.
Home Depot will remain as sponsor through 2004. |
