Chicagoland Speedway Announces 2002 Track Pack

The 2002 racing season at Chicagoland Speedway is just around the corner! The inaugural season was sold-out, and with the addition of a fifth race and a more mature track, we are anticipating another exciting season and an even faster sell-out. Tickets will again be sold in the form of a Track Pack, a season pass for all five racing events at Chicagoland Speedway. Also, a limited amount of Founder's P.A.S.S. seats will again be available in 2002, which the ticket holder secures the seat for 30 years by renewing it with the purchase of a Track Pack each year. The 2002 season at Chicagoland Speedway will once again include the Tropicana 400, NASCAR Winston Cup Series on July 14, and the Hills Bros Coffee 300, NASCAR Busch Series on July 13. Events will also include the Delphi Indy 300, Indy Racing Northern Lights Series on September 8, and the ARCA 200, ARCA RE/MAX Series on September 7. Added to the Chicagoland Speedway line-up of events free-of-charge to 2002 Track Pack holders will be the brand new Indy Racing Infiniti Pro Series also scheduled to race September 8. A Track Pack renewal letter was mailed to 2001 Track Pack holders Wednesday, September 19, providing information about the 2002 package. If you were a 2001 Track Pack holder and did not receive a renewal letter, call 815-727-RACE. 2001 Track Pack holders that renew their tickets before October 31, 2001 are guaranteed the same amount of seats (not location). Race fans who did not purchase a Track Pack for the inaugural season can be placed on the waiting list for a non-refundable $25 good towards the purchase of their 2002 Track Pack. Track Packs will be sold to those on the waiting list beginning October 31, 2001. Ticket sales to the general public will begin February 18, 2002, the day after the NASCAR Winston Cup Daytona 500. If you feel the need for speed, call 815-727-RACE or visit the Chicagoland Speedway Box Office at 500 Speedway Boulevard in Joliet, Illinois to purchase your 2002 Track Pack.
