Zakspeed has opened a school
for oval racing at EuroSpeedway Lausitz. The "Zakspeed V8 Racing School"
is the first European provider of racing training courses and company
events on an oval race track, the unique 2 mile super speedway at
Lausitz. The company Zakspeed is located at Niederzissen (Rheinland-Pfalz).
Since 1991 one of its subsidiaries has been successfully running the
Zakspeed race drivers school for classical round course races with
formula and touring cars at Nürburgring. The company has started its new
activity by a company event on 31 August 2004 with several V8 touring
cars with about 500 HP engines. Target groups for the basic and
intensive courses which last each one and a half or two days are both
companies and individuals. For company events Zakspeed will arrange
tailor made programs on and around the 2 mile super speedway. A new
attraction will be spectacular taxi tours on the super speedway as a
co-pilot in a V8 racing car.

in Europe. In contrast to classical round course races both the drivers

The name of Zakspeed Racing has been a symbol for success and experience
in racing sport for 36 years and since its founding in 1968 it represents
the most successful German motor sport team which has won 411 races and 17
national and international titles. The most recent great success of the
team which has been active in Formula 1 from 1985 until 1990 was its
victory in the legendary 24 hour race on the old Nordschleife of
Nürburgring in 2002.

The price for a the Zakspeed V8 basic course is Euro 1,550.00. The
intensive course costs Euro 2,290.00. You may have a tour as co-pilot in a
