The seventh running of the Dunlop 24H DUBAI, the first international endurance race of the year for touring cars, GTs and 24H Specials, was hailed as a great success by drivers, team members, spectators, journalists and organizers. An international field with 70 cars and drivers and teams from 38 countries staged a spectacular race twice around the clock, in which the battle for podium positions as well as overall and class results went down right to the wire. “The Creventic organization deserves nothing but praise. Every element of this event was top notch. The ACO, FIA, IMSA, and the others have something to learn from the (not so) new kid on the block – a stellar endurance event”, was the comment from a respected international motorsport website.
