Marcos Ambrose
He won't be on the same tires come race day, but Marcos Ambrose used his last run on Goodyear's initial set to clinch the pole in his Ford for Sunday's Quicken Loans 400.

Ambrose turned a lap at over 203 mph to win the pole, a new track record for stock cars at the 2-mile oval in the Irish Hills of Michigan.

Kevin Harvick will start second in a Chevy and Greg Biffle third.  Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman rounded out the top-5.
