Fernando Alonso won today's Bahrain GP some 16 seconds ahead of his Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa and in doing so won his debut race for Ferrari. Polesitter Sebastian Vettel built up a lead of 5 seconds over Alonso early but a broken exhaust header slowed his pace and Alonso pounced. Once Alonso passed, Massa moved around Vettel too but he could not keep pace with his new teammate. Lewis Hamilton was 3rd. Press Conference
