'C' team owner Brown pans 'B' team owners
One of the worse cars on the F1 grid, the McLaren 'C' team squad
One of the worse cars on the F1 grid, the McLaren 'C' team squad
Back of the grid 'C' team McLaren boss Zak Brown believes the 'B-Team' model in F1, as exploited by Haas and Ferrari, equates to "throwing in the towel" as a championship contender for the outfit that follows the concept.

Of course that beats developing your own car like McLaren does and producing what amounts to 'C' level moving chicanes. Of course someone has to be slowest, so it may as well be Brown's team.

"I think Haas has done an excellent, excellent job given their resources and how young the racing team is. You have to admire what they have done," said the McLaren Racing CEO.

Speedway begins its previously announced tenure with IndyCar and IMS
Speedway begins its previously announced tenure with IndyCar and IMS
Nearly every day, the Speedway convenience store on West 16th Street in Indianapolis gets plenty of customers from its neighbor across the street, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Employees down the street at the INDYCAR offices also stop in to buy coffee, doughnuts, soft drinks and fill up their gas tanks.

One of those frequent customers is Mark Miles, the president and CEO of Hulman & Company, who believes the Speedway chain of nearly 4,000 retail stores is a great partner fit for both INDYCAR and IMS. It’s one reason why Speedway became the official fuel supplier and official convenience store of INDYCAR and Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Jan. 1.

Jewish Business News
In an interview with the official F1 website, Lance Stroll's billionaire daddy Lawrence Stroll opened up on buying an entire F1 team for his son, “I never planned to buy an F1 team.”

“The reason it interested myself and my consortium of investors was because this is a phenomenally special team. To be fourth in 2016 and 2017 – and last year I think they would have also been fourth without the interruption of the shareholding – in this unbelievably competitive environment speaks volumes about the staff working in this very special place.”
