Iowa Speedway will have concerts every race weekend in 2019
Iowa Speedway
Iowa Speedway (NASCAR owned) has a concert for the Friday night ARCA race (NASCAR owned) but the IndyCar race gets screwed - no concert Saturday night means half empty grandstands.
Multi-platinum selling band Kansas, Grammy Award-winning metal band Dokken and rising country music star Granger Smith will headline this summer’s NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series at Iowa Speedway.

The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series returns for a fifth consecutive year, featuring three acts complementing six scheduled races. Each installment of the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series will take place at the Party Pavilion overlooking Turn 4 following the conclusion of the first race of each event weekend.

“The reprisal of the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series continues our deep-seeded commitment to providing our fans with a complete entertainment experience on race weekends, which involves much more than racing,” Iowa Speedway President David Hyatt said. “The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series was developed to attract new fans to Iowa Speedway who may not otherwise be aware of or come to see a race here … All while being awesome post-race revelry for our most ardent fans.”

11 drivers primed for IMSA/WEC doubleheader at Sebring
Sebring
Saturday’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts is widely considered one of the most grueling races in motorsport all by itself.

But for 11 drivers and one IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship team, the Twelve Hours will represent only about 60 percent of the battle with the 3.74-mile, 17-turn Sebring International Raceway circuit. That’s because they’ll also compete in Friday’s FIA World Endurance Championship 1000 Miles of Sebring as part of the first “Super Sebring” event co-headlined by the WeatherTech Championship and the WEC.

(GMM) 2019 is "make or break" for Sebastian Vettel.

That is the view of 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, who thinks the German cannot squander another chance to win the world championship for Ferrari.

"It's make or break for Sebastian Vettel this season," the outspoken Canadian told Le Journal de Montreal.

"He has made mistakes in recent years that have probably cost him titles every time," Villeneuve said.

"Last year especially he was in a good position to win the championship with the best car on the grid before he crashed at home in Hockenheim.

"We know the rest: Hamilton took control from then on. Only if Vettel can chase away his demons will he win a fifth world title," Villeneuve added.
