Logano wins Bristol XFinity race
Joey Logano
Joey Logano grabbed the lead at the first drop of the green flag and led the rest of the way Saturday afternoon at Bristol Motor Speedway, notching his second NASCAR XFINITY Series victory in his third start of the year.

Logano, driving the Team Penske No. 22 Ford, started second and got the jump on pole-starter Erik Jones to put away his 23rd career XFINITY win and his second on the .533-mile track. Jones was credited with leading from the pole, but Logano led Laps 1-300.

Rookie Daniel Suarez posted his career-best finish in second place, marking his first top-five effort in his nine XFINITY starts for Joe Gibbs Racing. His No. 18 Toyota was just ahead of Roush Fenway Racing's Chris Buescher, who took third in the No. 60 Ford.

Jones, Suarez's teammate and last week's first-time XFINITY winner at Texas, held on for fourth place with Richard Childress Racing's Ty Dillon completing the top five. Buescher and Dillon emerged in a tie atop the series standings, but Buescher gets the benefit of the tiebreaker for having a higher finish during the season, second place in the Daytona opener.

Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez has clinched his 24th MotoGP pole position - and second successive – for tomorrow’s twenty-five lap race in Argentina, with teammate Hiroshi Aoyama qualifying 15th.

With track temperatures almost doubling since this morning’s FP3 session, replacement rider Hiroshi was unable to find a better feeling with the Honda RC213V and did not manage to reach Q2. His time of 1’39.715 placed him 15th for tomorrow’s race.

Good morning from Long Beach (Update) UPDATE
E.J. Viso
We ran into E.J. Viso in the paddock here at Long Beach this morning. We asked the Venezuelan veteran of 100 IndyCar starts if he had anything working for the Indianapolis 500. Viso noted that nothing was signed but did say "we're working on it."

And for what it's worth, Viso spent some time in the Dale Coyne Racing paddock area this morning. So make of that what you will.

Speaking of Dale Coyne Racing, the team has of course been in the news a lot over the past week. Yesterday, they shocked the paddock with the announcement that Rocky Moran, Jr. would replace Carlos Huertas for the weekend. As you know by now, Moran broke his hand yesterday and has been replaced by Conor Daly, who was here driving the two-seater for Indy Racing Experience.

GP2: Vandoorne fights back for crushing win
Vandoorne, Haryanto & Rossi
McLaren F1 test driver Stoffel Vandoorne won this afternoon’s feature race in Bahrain from pole position, but the victory came against the odds: an early safety car period gave his soft shod rivals a free pitstop, but the Belgian kept his nerve to drive back into contention and claim the win late in the race ahead of Rio Haryanto and Alexander Rossi.

Vandoorne had an easy start when teammate Nobuharu Matsushita bogged down next to him on the front row, with the Belgian easily holding back Alex Lynn and Norman Nato, while Raffaele Marciello and Arthur Pic lined up behind them.
