Ford Dealerships find $4.5 Million Worth of Meth Hidden Away In Cars From Mexico
Drugs hidden in spare tires
Drugs hidden in spare tires
According to Canadian Border Control agents, a shipment of 14 Ford Fusions--that were parsed out to nine different Ontario-based Ford dealerships--contained a surprise for the dealership employees, a massive amount of heavily wrapped packages of methamphetamines hidden inside the brand-new cars’ spare tires.

Authorities state that the 400-pound drug shipment, which was brought into Canada via legal U.S. shipping lanes from Mexico, is supposedly worth a total of $4.5 million dollars and ended up in dealership hands after an obvious “error” made by the drug cartels. According to Autonews, Canadian and U.S. Authorities believe that the drugs were shipped by the Sinaloa drug cartel, which gained access to the cars after they left the assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico.

UPDATE
Rahal Letterman Lanigan (RLL) Racing will officially unveil the previously announced fan-favorite livery on the No. 15 Gehl / Manitou entry for the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America on June 23. The design is a throwback to team co-owner and former Indy car champion Bobby Rahal’s 1994 Lola-Honda race car but that was only part of the story. The livery was also chosen as a celebration of Honda’s 25 seasons in the sport, after years of groundwork by Bobby Rahal led to their first season of competition in 1994. The iconic “Powered by Honda” logo, first used in Indy car racing when the program debuted in 1994, will return for the event.

Kurt Busch reveals his ambition to race Le Mans one day
Kurt Busch
Kurt Busch
Kurt Busch, driver for Chip Ganassi Racing in Monster Energy Cup Series, found time in his busy schedule to jump in a plane and spend the weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A weekend as an onlooker, but with vested interests. He makes no secret of his desire to try other disciplines and races, including Le Mans.

“This is a fun weekend off. It’s great to have the access through Chip Ganassi Racing. It makes a change to be at a racetrack and not be racing. It’s neat to see the culture, the people, the pageantry and the passion here. I’m enjoying watching the Fords, the Corvettes: that heritage, that legacy. Those guys paved the way for a guy like me to enjoy. At the same time I need to do a better job of getting other guys to jump out of Indy Car and into sports cars and vice-versa."
