Rossi will quickly learn that the only leg up in IndyCar is if you drive for Team Penske
Andretti Autosport was the only NTT IndyCar Series team to have tested here at Portland with its full-time drivers. Indy Lights points leader Oliver Askew tested for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Which means, Alexander Rossi is the only championship contender to have received extra time on this 12-turn, 1.964-mile permanent road course, and it seemed to have showed in Friday’s practice sessions. All five of the Andretti cars, which includes the partner program that includes rookie Colton Herta, were in the top 11, with Herta first in the No. 88 Capstone Turbine Honda (57.295 seconds, 123.115 mph) and Rossi second (57.5538, 122.849 mph) and Marco Andretti fifth (57.9006, 122.113 mph) in the No. 98 Oberto Circle K/Curb Honda.

Jehan Daruvala

Christian Lundgaard led the cars out into the 35-degree track temperature, but it was Piquet who was hottest in the early stages, beating out both the Dane and Leonardo Pulcini for provisional pole. The Brazilian racer was swiftly backed up by his Trident teammate Devlin DeFrancesco, who looked much improved in Round 6 and was eyeing his best Qualifying of the season.

Lewis Hamilton launches Beyond Burger chain

If you have not tried a Beyond Burger, you should. It tastes as good as any beef burger. Burger King now sells them and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) will soon be rolling out their Beyond Fried Chicken. Plant based burgers like this are the future
Reigning Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has launched a plant-based burger chain, Neat Burger that will use Beyond Meat's Beyond Burgers.

Hamilton has paired up with Beyond Meat and UNICEF ambassador Tommaso Chiabra to found the company which hopes to "transform the way people see plant-based food". The first Neat Burger will open just off London's Regent Street on Sept. 2 and the company hopes to have 14 restaurants in operation within two years.

Hamilton, who himself switched to a plant-based diet in 2017, said in a statement he is "passionate about being kinder to our world".

"I have a friend in London who I have known for two or three years and we have spoken about how I had turned to a plant-based diet and that I was going in that direction," the five-time world champion said Thursday. "Beyond Meat then came out and I remember speaking to him about trying it and how amazing it is.
