Hamilton likens his F1 ride next year to a school bus.
Lewis Hamilton says the decision to reduce the maximum number of engines per season for each driver from four to three before incurring a penalty "sucks".
The FIA believes reducing the number of engines will bring costs down – although that hasn't been the case with drivers taking extra engines when required and just accepting that brings with it a penalty – and agreed that each season the number would reduce, with 2018 set to drop to three.

Anyone can buy Penske shocks, but no one can buy the version that goes on Penske's own cars
IndyCar is rolling out a simplified body kit next season to cut costs and improve racing. IndyCar estimates that the new Bodykit will save teams $216K per entry in 2018.
Unfortunately that savings is more than wiped out by the silly shock package rules that allow teams to develop their own shocks. Teams will spend a minimum of $250K-$300K per car including development and testing on shocks in 2018 and every year thereafter.
JR Motorsports today named veteran car chief Billy Wilburn as crew chief of the No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team for this Saturday’s season finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway as driver Justin Allgaier vies for the NASCAR Xfinity Series title.
Wilburn, who has served as car chief with the No. 7 team for the past four seasons, will step into the role normally occupied by Jason Burdett. Burdett is serving a one-race suspension after the No. 7 car did not clear post-race inspection at Phoenix Raceway. JR Motorsports elected not to appeal the NASCAR-announced penalty on Monday.
On the favorite to win the MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES championship:
“I don’t see any weaknesses in Martin Truex Jr. and the No. 78 team. They just execute. I’ve been on the Truex bandwagon nearly all year and would love to see him win the championship because of everything he has been through. But I think Harvick is the guy to beat. They found speed in his Fords as of late. His mile-and-a-half track performances have been stout, and like Tony Stewart said, when you put Harvick in this situation, it’s like dangling a piece of meat in front of a hungry tiger. I’d like to see Truex win the championship, but I think this championship goes through Harvick.”
