The 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo has the lowest MPGe rating of all current 2019 and 2020 model year electric cars in the United States according to the EPA. For gasoline supercars, efficiency doesn't really matter, and fuel economy is often pitiful. However, with today's current battery technology, electric car efficiency is extremely important regardless if it's an economy car or a supercar.
Porsche enthusiasts may not be worried about the energy bills or even the 201 mile range of their brand new electric car, but there are metrics about inefficiency that are hard to ignore for any enthusiast. This video will also compare the Porsche Taycan's battery strategy to the Tesla Model S. Differences in battery strategy also lead to differences in brake pedal, accelerator pedal, and regenerative braking strategies between the two cars, which will be discussed in the video.

Mick Schumacher - Ferrari Academy driver but still too slow for F1
Alfa Romeo team boss Frederic Vasseur has dismissed giving Mick Schumacher any F1 seat time in 2020.
As a member of Ferrari's Driver Academy, Schumacher was given F1 seat time earlier this year in Bahrain, both with the Scuderia and with Alfa Romeo but was not impressive whatsoever.
While the Hinwil-based squad remains affiliated with the House of Maranello and the most probable entry point for Schumacher in F1 after his second campaign in Formula 2 in 2020, Vasseur insists there will be no track time allocated to the young German next season.
After being sacked by the factory Corvette team after 16 years of employment, Jan Magnussen is eyeing a full-time switch to the World Endurance Championship for the 2020/21 season.
Magnussen tested the Danish squad High Class Racing's Michelin-shod ORECA 07 in the one-day test after the Bahrain World Endurance Championship round earlier this month, setting the 10th-fastest time in the LMP2 class.
"With all these years in GT cars you get quite comfortable with feel, the little bumps in the track, you can take a lot of curbs without knocking yourself out in the car whereas these things are a lot more brutal in terms of when you do something wrong, there is a big penalty," he said.
They may build great F1 cars but if you think your Mercedes “stinks” well it probably does. If you’re one of the 2.5 million unlucky Mercedes owners with mold inside their HVAC systems, you definitely know your car stinks.
Thankfully, the German carmaker has finally agreed to settle its HVAC mold lawsuit, giving hope to millions of U.S. customers facing bad odors coming from their cars’ air conditioning units, reports Kiro7.
One Mercedes owner that also happens to be a lawyer called the odor a “pungent, mildew, sweaty, moldy, sweat sock smell,” before filing the class-action lawsuit along with co-counsel.

Why has IndyCar shifted its races to later in the afternoon?
IndyCar's best fans get the IndyCar screw
A reader asks, I was looking at the 2020 IndyCar TV schedule and saw that the races I like to attend have shifted to later in the day.
Now I will no longer be attending because I cannot get home Sunday night in time for work Monday morning. Who was the mental midget who moved the races to a later start time? Fred Smith
Dear Fred, The IndyCar races have been trending to later in the afternoon to help TV ratings, which tend to rise as people arrive home from their day out. IndyCar's ratings are so bad the only way they have been able to make them rise is to shift the races, which totally screws the fans like you attending in person.
