Video: NHRA Top Fuel Champ Brittany Force taken to hospital after first-round crash (Update) UPDATE Brittany Force was released from the hospital Monday and has shown no lingering effects from the incident except for some upper body soreness. Force will continue to recuperate at home. A CT Scan was negative and the MRI showed subtle findings likely from previous injuries. She was admitted overnight for observation as a precaution.
02/11/18 Reigning World Champion Brittany Force experienced an unbelievable crash during eliminations at the Lucas Oil Winternationals. Force was responsive and speaking with medical staff and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
John Force Racing said in a prepared statement that the Monster Energy Dragster driver had “no major internal injuries but does have some bruising of the lungs. A CT scan was negative, and the MRI showed subtle findings, likely from previous injuries. She was admitted overnight for observation simply as a precaution.”
