Wayne Taylor Racing welcomes Toshiba
As the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Pontiac Riley of the newly created Wayne Taylor Racing kicks off practice and qualifying for this weekend’s Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, the team proudly welcomes Toshiba Business Solutions as an associate sponsor.

Toshiba Business Solutions, based in Irvine, Calif., operates a network of wholly owned office equipment subsidiaries throughout the United States, one of which is Toshiba Business Solutions-Florida.

“This is very exciting for our new team as it continues a personal relationship I’ve had with Toshiba that spanned many years through the 1990s,” said team owner Wayne Taylor, who once again is also donning his driver’s helmet this weekend as part of a powerful four-driver lineup that includes fellow 2005 Rolex 24 winner and series champion Max Angelelli, as well as four-time NASCAR Cup Series and three-time Daytona 500 winner Jeff Gordon, and veteran Formula One, Champ Car and sports car racer Jan Magnussen. “Toshiba is a terrific and highly dynamic company, and they have always been great people to work with. We are thrilled to have them on board and we truly look forward to building a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship on and off the racetrack.”

Toshiba Business Solutions is a subsidiary of Toshiba American Business Solutions, Inc., which manages product planning, marketing, sales, service support and distribution of copiers, facsimiles, multifunction printing products, network controllers and toner products throughout the United States, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.

“Toshiba is thrilled to sponsor Wayne Taylor Racing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona – the ultimate sports car endurance race,” said Wayne Wilkinson, vice president and general manager for Toshiba Business Solutions. “With Taylor’s winning track record in this event, it’s clear that we share a mutual drive for delivering superior performance at every turn. The relationship between Toshiba and Wayne Taylor Racing highlights our similar passions for executing high performance at high speeds, and we’re proud to be part of the SunTrust Racing team.”
