Tickets to all the exciting, world-class auto racing events held at The Milwaukee Mile will be available for purchase on the historic speedway’s website, www.milwaukeemile.com, beginning this Monday, February 19th.

With the latest news of Wisconsin NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth racing at The Milwaukee Mile on the speedway’s traditional Governor’s Cup weekend, August 24-26 still fresh, as well as the season-opening NASCAR events held in Daytona Beach, Fla. February 15-18, the timing makes sense, according to speedway officials.

“The excitement builds towards Daytona for NASCAR fans, and we want to ride that momentum with our online ticket launch for our two premier NASCAR events held at The Milwaukee Mile, in addition to our other exciting weekends of racing,” commented Jim Westerman, the speedway’s VP – Marketing.

The Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 NASCAR Craftman Truck Series event is scheduled for Friday night, June 22nd, with the biggest Motorsports event in the state of Wisconsin set to go the next night, as the AT&T 250 NASCAR Busch Series race will take the green flag shortly after 7:30pm on Saturday, June 23.

Kenseth is scheduled to race a super late model against the best racers from Wisconsin and the Midwest on Sunday, August 26, the day after competing in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race in Bristol, Tenn.  The Milwaukee Mile is offering a money-saving Stock Car Package to both NASCAR events and all event days of their four stock car division Governor’s Cup weekend in August, which features the ARCA RE/MAX Series, ASA Late Model Challenge Series, the Mid-American Stock Car Series, and the Wisconsin All-Star late model racers.

Certainly a highlight this summer will be the return to tradition of the Indy cars racing at The Milwaukee Mile the Sunday following the Indianapolis 500.  Sunday afternoon, June 3 will mark the unparalleled 50th time The Mile will host Sam Hornish, Marco Andretti, Danica Patrick, Tony Kanaan and all the Indy car stars.  The ABC Supply / A.J. Foyt 225 IndyCar Series weekend will also feature the up-and-coming Indy Pro Series drivers in action.

Season tickets to all event weekends, in addition to individual event day tickets will be available online beginning this Monday, February 19th starting at 12:00pm CST.

The Milwaukee Mile is the world’s oldest active speedway, dating back to 1903.  In just the past five years, there have been over $23million in improvements to the one-mile oval facility, improving the fan’s experience with an all-new aluminum grandstand, to installing a $1million SAFER Barrier System in 2006 to ensure the safest environment for competitors.

Tickets are also available through The Milwaukee Mile ticket office by calling (414) 453-8277, via the speedway’s website as of February 19th at www.milwaukeemile.com, and toll-free 24/7 via the Tickets.com order line, (800) 511-1552.
