Photomotive Merchandising Joins Champ Car The Champ Car World Series today announces that it has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Photomotive Merchandising to sell photographs and posters of the teams and drivers starting with the 2007 season.
Offering both exciting action shots and classic driver poses, these photos will allow the fans to claim a prized memory of their favorite race or favorite driver home from Champ Car’s three-day Festivals of Speed.
“I remember the anticipation of waiting in line to have a photo signed by the top racing drivers in North America,” said Bruce Squair, president of Photomotive Merchandising. “And I know racing enthusiasts will want to do the same when they see these great shots of their favorite drivers.”
Race attendees are invited to visit the Photomotive booth, which will be at each of the races. The photographs and posters will also be available on the www.champcarstuff.com and www.speedgear.com websites starting in summer 2007.
“We welcome Photomotive Merchandising to the Champ Car family and look forwarding to seeing their products at trackside events starting with the series opener in Las Vegas, April 7-9th and also available on the ChampCarStuff.com and Speedgear.com online stores,” said Champ Car President Steve Johnson. “We look forward to a long and mutually profitable relationship with our new licensee.”
With years of experience selling internationally licensed posters and photographs from Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures and Fox Entertainment, Photomotive Merchandising has been created to branch out into the racing industry due to Mr. Squair’s strong interest in Champ Car.
Speedgear is Champ Car's exclusive merchandising and licensing partner. They are the North American leaders in the marketing of open-wheel merchandise and have been in business since 1989 and a Champ Car licensee since 1994.
