Grand-Am race gets associate sponsor Officials from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced today an agreement with Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP) division Luggage Express, a luggage delivery service, as the presenting sponsor of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express May 18-20.
Luggage Express offers a more convenient and safe way of traveling, picking up a passenger’s luggage at their home or office and delivering it to their final destination. Immediate benefits include avoiding long baggage check-in lines, minimizing pre-flight waiting time, and assurance that your luggage will arrive at your destination
“A partnership with Luggage Express is another avenue for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to grow the profile of the U.S. Sports Car Invitational,” said Gill Campbell, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca CEO and general manager. “Those attending races at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca often take extra days to enjoy the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula, and Luggage Express can ease those plans by delivering golf clubs and other luggage items for an extended stay.”
The U.S. Sports Car Invitational delivered by Luggage Express features the Grand-Am Rolex Series and some of the largest race fields of the season in the Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series and the SCCA Pro Racing SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Hankook.
“Having a televised Grand-Am Rolex Series race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca named after one of our companies in such a prestigious area of our country is both exciting and timely for our growing company,” said Richard A. Altomare, Chairman and CEO of Universal Express.
