The NEXTEL Cup teams will invade the JHE Production Group’s new. 44,000 square foot facility in Harrisburg, NC on Tuesday May 8th, Wednesday May 9th and Thursday May 10th. The NASCAR NEXTEL Pit Crew Challenge arena floor has been recreated to allow the teams to practice in a nearly identical setting to what they will see on May 16th. The media is encouraged to attend. The sessions are not open to the public.

Defending NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson’s No. 48 Lowe’s Home Improvement Chevrolet team will join Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt’s No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet and Card Edward’s No. 99 Office Depot crews as they practice for year’s battle of NASCAR pit crew supremacy, the NASCAR NEXTEL Pit Crew Challenge. The event is slated for Wednesday May 16th at 7:00pm at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena.
