Andy Zuber has finished the fourth and final day of the last GP2 Series test of 2007 in the position in which he has found himself for the majority of the week, taking the best time of the day, and the test on the final afternoon. Andy was desperately close to taking a new GP2 Series lap record for Super Nova, however that honor remains with Jose Maria Lopez, whose 1:12.547 remains the quickest lap on the 3D track formation.
For a while we thought we would be finishing the test with a new record as Giedo Van Der Garde recorded a 1:12.488, however the Dutchman was found to have cut the final corner and subsequently had his two fastest laps taken from him.

Pastor Maldonado was again impressive for Minardi, as Romain Grosjean put in the rookie performance of the test to wind up third. Fourth position went to the very impressive Adrian Zaugg in the BCN while Kazuki Nakajima come home fifth ahead of the equally impressive Yelmer Buurman, Luca Filippi, Borja Garcia, Davide Rigon and Adrian Valles.
Today's test was the last time that the current GP2 Series car will be run in Europe, and in a matter of days all 26 will be boxed up and sent to Dubai where they will race in the GP2 Asia Series.
