Kasey Kahne was quickest in Happy Hour for Sunday's UAW-Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway but decided to skip the Nationwide race due to a sinus infection. Carl Edwards and Paul Menard were just a tick slower than Kahne, and Hendricks Terrible Trio of Gordon, Johnson and Earnhardt Jr were next quickest.
”The Budweiser Dodge was good" commented Kahne after Happy Hour. "It’s a little free in, a little tight in the center and off – we’ll keep working on that. We got better as the day went for sure. We’re looking forward to tomorrow. We have to come a long way back because of my poor effort in qualifying, but other than that we’ve got a good fast car. Vegas is always a lot of fun to run on Sunday.”
Clint Bowyer hit the wall in Happy Hour collecting Kyle Petty in the process. Bowyer will start tomorrow's race in a backup car while Petty will... does it really matter?
