 Busch paces second Monday session at LMS  Kyle Busch paced the afternoon session Monday of the Sprint Cup Series test at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, turning a lap of 179.736 mph in Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18 Toyota.

Busch was 0.053 seconds faster than Roush Fenway Racing’s Carl Edwards, who went 179.420 mph in the No. 99 Ford. Jeff Burton was third at 179.200 in Richard Childress Racing’s Chevrolet, with Kurt Busch (Penske Racing) fourth and Elliott Sadler (Gillett Evernham Motorsports) fifth.
