Penske Racing Announces Rolex 24 Driver Lineup Penske Racing today announced its driver lineup for the 2009 Rolex 24 at Daytona and that Crown Royal Cask No. 16 will become a sponsor for the upcoming 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season.
The storied whisky brand will be a primary sponsor on a special Crown Royal Cask No. 16 Penske Porsche Riley Daytona Prototype at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 24-25, 2009. Driving the No. 16 machine in the legendary endurance event will be multiple sports car champions Romain Dumas and Timo Bernhard, joined by Team Penske IndyCar Series pilot Ryan Briscoe.
Crown Royal Cask No. 16 will continue as a major associate partner for the remaining 11-race Grand-Am season on the Penske Porsche Riley Daytona Prototype. Bernhard and Dumas will co-drive in those 11 events.
