Ford becomes official vehicle at Bristol Bristol Motor Speedway announced today that two local Ford organizations have teamed up to provide the official vehicle of the track in 2009.
Tri-Cities and Charleston Ford Dealer Advertising Group have signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with the .533-mile facility, which is owned by Speedway Motorsports Inc.
“It is exciting for us to renew our partnership with Ford here at Bristol Motor Speedway," BMS President Jeff Byrd said. "We had a strong relationship with them the first two years after [SMI] purchased the track, and teaming up with them again in partnership with the dealers of this region is a good fit.”
The Tri-Cities and Charleston Ford Dealer Advertising Group encompass 40 dealerships in Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky.
“The local Ford dealers are delighted to have this opportunity to showcase our lineup of vehicles as the official vehicle of Bristol Motor Speedway,” Tri-Cities and Charleston Ford Dealer Advertising Group President John King said. “We are extremely proud of the vehicles we sell and know race fans will be excited about them as well.”
