Bernie Ecclestone and Luca di Montezemola bury the hatchet
Two of Formula One's most powerful men, Luca di Montezemolo and Bernie Ecclestone, appeared to have settled their differences.
Di Montezemolo and F1 supremo Ecclestone have recently enjoyed a love-hate relationship, and things turned nasty in December when the Ferrari president hinted that Ecclestone's time may be up.
However, Ecclestone hit back and revealed Ferrari received more money than other F1 teams and they've "general help" for years.
The two, though, put their differences to one side during Ferrari's annual ski retreat at Madonna di Campiglio in Italy.
Di Montezemolo was quick to point out that Ecclestone has done a lot for Formula One.
"He's a person a great capabilities, who's done so much in F1," Di Montezemolo said during Ferrari's ski retreat at Madonna di Campiglio.
"I'm happy to see him here, and I'm happy to talk, and I hope we'll agree, on behalf of all teams, on common objectives for the future, with everyone doing his own job and respecting his own role, knowing there's a team and company association today which looks at the future, and knowing that there's him, who's always been an interpreter of the future."
