Management Changes at Miller Motorsports Park Greg Miller, CEO of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, announced the following management changes at Miller Motorsports Park (MMP) today. MMP falls under the Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment division whose President and Chief Operating Officer is Randy Rigby.
Dan Davis, who has been President and Chief Operating Officer for the track since September 2008, has stepped down in order to pursue new opportunities nearer to his home in Michigan.
“Dan has been an asset to the track these past seven months and we wish him only the very best in his future endeavors,” said Greg Miller.
John Larson has been appointed to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Miller Motorsports Park. In this role he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the track and take responsibility for the future success of the venue. Prior to this position, Larson was Vice President of Finance for the Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment division. Larson has been with the Miller organization for the past 19 years.
“John has been a valuable member of our management team and is the right person to run the race track,” said Randy Rigby. “We are fortunate that he can hit the ground running mid-season as he has been involved in the financial end of the venue since it opened in 2006.”
Bryan Miller has been named Assistant General Manager and will work closely with Larson in running Miller Motorsports Park. Miller has worked in various positions at the race track since 2006.
