Deadline for LeMans contest quickly approaching Time is running out to enter the third annual American Le Mans Series/AutoWeek “Win a Free Trip to the 24 Hours of Le Mans” Sweepstakes, which ends Monday, June 15. A pair of lucky fans will win the endurance experience of a lifetime - an expense-paid trip for two to Le Mans in 2010.
Entrants may register at either americanlemans.com or autoweek.com for the ultimate in access to the drivers, teams and manufacturers at the world’s most famous and demanding auto race.
AutoWeek and the Series will fly the Grand Prize winners from their nearest U.S. airport to Paris, where they will board the high-speed TGV rail line directly to Le Mans. The winners also will receive insider VIP credentials, world-class hospitality at the famed Circuit de la Sarthe and accommodations in a 15th-century Chateau near the circuit.
That’s not all. In addition the winners will have the chance to drive on the famed Mulsanne Straight, meet the teams in a guided insider garage tour, see the famous Museum of the 24 Hours at the circuit as well as receive photo opportunities with the drivers, VIP insider viewing of the Grande Parade des Pilotes - the annual parade of drivers - and the opportunity to be interviewed on Radio Le Mans during the race.
An expense-paid trip for two to the 2010 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will go to a First Prize winner and a guest. Air transportation, hotel and VIP hospitality - as well as a chance to get up close and personal with the world’s greatest sports car drivers and teams - will be provided.
The Grand Prize winner also will receive a $2,500 Lowe’s gift card and $1,500 in gift cards from Shell. The First Prize winner will win a $1,500 Lowe’s card and $1,000 in gift cards from Shell. Michelin also will supply the winners with a set of four new Michelin® brand Passenger or Light Truck Tires. They also will receive a free one-year subscription to AutoWeek.
