IMS takes action to bolster sagging NASCAR ticket sales
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis are teaming up to offer ticket packages for three exciting NASCAR races July 24-26 and other value-added features for less than $100.

The packages, available starting Monday, June 15, provide fans with special offers on reserved-seat race tickets and food coupons for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard Sprint Cup Series race Sunday, July 26 at IMS, the Kroger 200 Nationwide Series race Saturday evening, July 25 and the AAA Insurance 200 Camping World Truck Series race Friday evening, July 24, both at O'Reilly Raceway Park.

Round-trip luxury motorcoach transportation between IMS and O'Reilly Raceway Park, provided by TourHendricksCounty.com, also will be among the many benefits of the packages.

"The NASCAR double-header at O'Reilly Raceway Park and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard at IMS is one of the most anticipated weekends of the year for race fans," said Joie Chitwood, IMS president and chief operating officer. "Given the challenging economic times, we are pleased to work with O'Reilly Raceway Park General Manager Ron Anderson and his staff to give our loyal fans a chance to see three great races at a great value."

Fans can choose from "Two Track Double Pack" or "Two Track Triple Pack" options:

The Two Track Double Pack provides tickets and amenities for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard and the Kroger 200. The cost is $75, a savings of $30 off the regular ticket prices.

The Two Track Triple Pack also includes the AAA Insurance 200. The cost is $95, saving fans $58 off the combined regular ticket prices.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer this package to the fans of NASCAR and those that attend the races at both of our world-class racetracks," said Ron Anderson, general manager of O'Reilly Raceway Park. "We believe this will be a tremendous benefit to our customers and help them save money while taking in three days of exciting NASCAR racing."

The Allstate 400 at the Brickyard reserved seats for both packages are located in the Northeast Vista Backstretch. The Kroger 200 and AAA Insurance 200 reserved seats are between Turns 1 and 2 of the .686-mile O'Reilly Raceway Park oval.

Besides reserved-seat tickets at a great price and round-trip luxury motorcoach transportation between venues, both packages include:

.Six "Brickyard Bucks" food coupons, enough to purchase a hot dog and Coca-Cola product at IMS

.One food voucher per day for a hot dog and Coca-Cola product at O'Reilly Raceway Park

Ticket packages are available for purchase starting June 15 through IMS at www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com, by calling the IMS Ticket Office at (800) 822-INDY or by visiting the IMS Ticket Office, located in the IMS Administration Building, between the hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
