Renault announces Kubica for 2010 and beyond (GMM) Renault on Wednesday announced that 24-year-old Polish driver Robert Kubica will race for the French formula one team "from the 2010 season onwards".
In a separate media statement, his current team BMW-Sauber said the deal followed "an early termination" of Kubica's contract, which was believed to have included 2010.
In the wake of BMW's decision to pull out of F1, the Hinwil based team has been bought by the mysterious Qadbak investment group, who currently do not have a guaranteed entry to race next year.
BMW-Sauber said on Wednesday: "The team ... will announce its driver line-up at a later stage."
