Kesolowski wins Nationwide pole, Danica slow again Brad Keselowski scored his first pole with Penske Racing when he took the top spot for today's NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam's Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
It's Keselowski's fourth career NNS pole and it came after he posted a lap of 185.427 mph in the No. 22 Dodge. His last pole came at Bristol Motor Speedway in August 2009.
Kevin Harvick qualified second for his third top-10 start of 2010 and his sixth in ten races at LVMS.
Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.
NASCAR's biggest star, Danica Patrick was too slow to make the field but got in on owners points.
