Silverstone offers pit wall access Organizers of the British Grand Prix have been granted permission to offer elite access-all-area tickets to this year's race at Silverstone. The special entrances to the pit wall will be offered to all who have purchased tickets to this year's event before midday on Friday 30 April. Having come to an agreement with F1 commercial rights holders Formula One Management (FOM), two individuals will now be enjoying this year's British Grand Prix at a highly modified Silverstone on the pit wall as another ten fans will win passes to the paddock area behind the garages on Saturday.
The prize draw will also allow five of those ten fans to enjoy upgraded tickets for the Paddock Club hospitality area on race day.
"This is an unbelievable opportunity for two lucky fans to get closer than ever to the heart of Formula 1," said Silverstone Managing Director Richard Phillips.
"Very few people, even amongst the teams, gain access to the pit wall during a race. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. FOM have been extremely generous in making this opportunity available to fans purchasing tickets for the British Grand Prix." GPUpdate.net
