U.S. F1 auctions rare racing items Want a piece of American's Formula One history--or perhaps a green couch for your dorm? They're being sold as what's left of U.S. F1 is auctioned off starting Thursday.
A number of intriguing items are available, including a body shell for a Formula One car, a race-car wheel and two racing paintings.
But most of the 427 lots are simply mundane office and industrial equipment. There's handtrucks, a refrigerator, trash cans, cabinets, desktop computer equipment and laptops.
U.S. F1 also apparently liked splashes of color, and dueling blue and green couches are available too. There is also a vacuum cleaner, 48-inch TV and one bottle of champagne--which obviously was never used on the podium.
