Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time on his final lap of Saturday morning's practice session for Sunday's German GP at Hockenheim, with a time of 1m15.103s.
The German's lap was 0.6s faster than Red Bull teammate Mark Webber, however it was Fernando Alonso, whose lap was only 0.284s slower than Vettel at the flag in 2nd.
Ferrari and Red Bull teams dominated the action and appear poised to take pole later today.
The session had begun wet following heavy rain in the morning, but by halfway through, a dry line emerged and the times came tumbling down.
