Alexander Rossi won his 2nd GP3 race of the year Sunday
American Alexander Rossi has won Sunday's GP3 race in Budapest. Polesitter Rossi took the lead at the start and was never headed to win his 2nd race of the year.
Plagued by mediocre qualifying results this year, which has hampered his ability to win more race, Rossi was good to his word on Sunday. He said he had no doubt he could win more races if he could start closer to the front.
Another American Josef Newgarden was headed for a 2nd place finish when his car broke 2 laps from the end, which handed 2nd place to Canadian Robert Wickens.
