Audi and Peugeot Renew Sebring Rivalry Over the past four years, Audi and Peugeot have been the two titans battling for supremacy in international sports car endurance racing. That rivalry continues on March 19th at the 59th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida. America's premier sports car race features a stellar 56-car field headlined by Audi and Peugeot diesel-powered prototypes. These two manufacturers will face several challengers, including an Aston Martin coupe, Toyota powered Lola coupe, Pescarolo Judd, Mazda Lola and the defending series champion Highcroft Honda Performance Development entry.
As the opening race of the 2011 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patr¢n and the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, Sebring has attracted one of the best entries ever seen at the legendary central Florida road racing circuit. The GT class should be equally exciting, with Corvette, Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, Ford, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Panoz and Lamborghini all fielding entries.
