Milka Duno Leads Final Practice at Talladega She failed as an IndyCar driver but someday maybe NASCAR will make her a star. Milka Duno led the final practice for today's 3 Amigos 250 at Talladega Superspeedway, driving the No. 63 CITGO Supergard Toyota to a lap of 52.064 seconds (183.928 mph). Duno topped 15 other drivers in the 55-minute session.
"The guys gave me a great car and this is the result of that," Duno said. "I think we have a very good, competitive car for the race, but I think it will be a very tough and intense race. The next step is the race, but we know now that the car is good."
Scott Lagasse Jr. (No. 25 Lauren Briant/University of Montevallo Toyota) was second, 0.064 second behind Duno. Brett Hudson, Chad McCumbee, and Joey Coulter rounded out the top five. zzzz
