Chinese GP: Vettel on top in practice 3 Sebastian Vettel did it again Saturday morning in Shanghai, China. The Red Bull driver turned the fastest lap in the third free practice session to make a clean sweep of the China practice sessions.
The Red Bull driver, was so fast that each time he ran in the session, he set a fastest lap time.
Jenson Button got closest to Vettel with a lap just 0.208s slower, while Lewis Hamilton moved up to third position in the closing stages.
Nico Rosberg was a promising fourth fastest, Fernando Alonso was 6th behind Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa.
