Ticket Sales Revving Up for Inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix  The Baltimore Grand Prix announced today that ticket sales for the inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix are continuing to pick up speed and that tickets for the Sunday-Only Reserved seating and the VIP Light Street Terrace areas have already sold out.

“I would love to say I’m shocked by the news that two of our seating areas have already sold out,” said

Baltimore Grand Prix President and CEO, Jay Davidson, “but we have felt since the inception of this event that the City of Baltimore was ready to welcome the Grand Prix and I would say that our pace in ticket sales is proving us to be correct.”

Tickets for the inaugural event went on sale in December and the pace since has been brisk.  While the Sunday-Only Reserved ticket and VIP Light Street Terrace are both sold out there are still numerous options for fans to reserve their seats to see the three-day spectacle of speed in person September 2-4, 2011.  The venue has additional reserved seating available as part of a Three-Day Reserved ticket; Saturday Reserved ticket as well as several VIP areas offering reserved seating such as the Grand Prix Club, VIP Balcony Club and the newly added Ruth Chris’ Harbor Club; which features complimentary Ruth Chris’ catering in a fabulous track-side climate controlled venue .  In addition to reserved seating, the event also offers for sale a Grounds Admission ticket which gives fans full access to the venue but without reserved seating.  A complete menu of ticketing options can be viewed and purchased via www.baltimoregrandprix.com/tickets.  You can purchase your tickets via the Baltimore Grand Prix website or by calling Ticketfly at 1-877-435-9849.

The inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix is scheduled for Friday, September 2 through Sunday, September 4, 2011 and will encompass a 2.0 mile temporary street circuit traveling through the heart of Baltimore's Downtown, rushing past the scenic Inner Harbor and racing around Camden Yards.  The race weekend will feature a spectacular combination of world-class racing and festivities, highlighted by the American Le Mans Series and IZOD IndyCar Series. Tickets for the Baltimore Grand Prix are available online at www.baltimoregrandprix.com or by phone at 877-4-FLY-TIX.
