The German driver this week apologized after it emerged he injured Renault team owner Genii's chief executive Eric Lux during a private nightclub party for Lewis Hamilton's win in Shanghai.
Lux was wearing a bandage on his neck in Turkey last weekend amid rumors Sutil attacked him with a broken champagne glass.
It has also been rumored Lux required more than a dozen stitches, that he has suffered hearing problems since the incident, and that Force India driver Sutil may have been drunk.

It was widely reported on Wednesday that Sutil, who drives for Force India, left Renault owner Genii executive Eric Lux bleeding from the neck after a scrap whilst in a VIP room at Shanghai club M1NT with his friend Lewis Hamilton.
Renault and Force India confirmed that an incident took place on the Sunday night but both said it was a "private matter".
"During a private event, there was a very unfortunate action by me in which I hurt another person completely unintentionally," the 28-year-old confirmed in a media statement to the German media.
"I regret the incident and have apologized accordingly," added Sutil.
"Since this was a private event and not directly related to formula one or my job as a formula one driver, I ask for understanding that I will say no more on this incident," he said.
Britain's Daily Mail alleges Sutil injured Lux with a broken glass and the latter needed to go to hospital for stitches.
Writing in his Auto Plus column, French commentator Jean-Louis Moncet said Lux has also suffered from hearing problems since the incident, and speculated that Sutil had been drunk.

The F1 broadcasters RAI (Italy) and TF1 (France) had already reported that the Force India driver got into a fight in Shanghai.
The Italian website 422race.com has now reported details, including the fact that Renault owner Genii's Eric Lux was left bloodied after the scrape in the M1NT nightclub.
Scars on Gerard Lopez right hand man Lux's neck were spotted in the Istanbul paddock and a team spokesman confirmed: "I can confirm that there has been an incident on Sunday after the Chinese GP involving Eric Lux.
"Lotus Renault GP is however not in a position to make any comments, as it is a private matter between Eric and the other person."
Eyewitnesses at the club reportedly saw Lux rushing from a VIP room with blood streaming down his neck. Sutil's friend Lewis Hamilton was rushed out of the same room by his bodyguards moments later.
"Sutil apparently had to run out of China to avoid legal problems on the matter," reported 422race.com.
The FIA said it is not investigating the matter, and a Force India spokesman added: "It is a private matter between the parties involved and we don't have any information on that, so we don't want to make any comment."
