Grand-Am banquet in Cleveland GRAND-AM Road Racing has announced that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, will host the 2011 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Awards Celebration presented by SunTrust. The year-end event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, the day after the season-ending race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
"This is a unique setting and a unique punctuation for an outstanding season," said GRAND-AM President Tom Bledsoe. "It will be a great night for recognizing our champions and looking back at the many accomplishments from a very competitive year."
The celebration will honor the top three positions in the Grand Sport and Street Tuner classes - both driving and team championships - as well as the manufacturer champions for both classes, the MESCO Building For The Future Rookie of the Year and other special awards.
