40,000 expected at this year's PRI show in Orlando  40,000 racing industry buyers from 65 countries will gather this December for the world's largest racing trade show--the 24th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show.

It features the latest advances in motorsports technology for all forms of auto racing, including sports car, stock car, drag, open wheel, formula, prototype, off-road, karting and more. Approximately 1100 companies will exhibit their new product lines for the 2012 race season in 3,200 booths. The whole event takes up 700,000 square feet.

The PRI Trade Show will be held December 1-3, 2011, in the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida. It is a trade only event, not open to race fans. Attendees must be part of a racing business or professional race team to be admitted, and there is no charge to attend.

"It's truly the international gathering place for racing industry professionals each year. You won't find more new racing products on display anywhere else on Earth," said Steve Lewis, producer of the PRI Trade Show. "If you're in the business of auto racing, you can't afford to miss it."

In addition to racing components and motorsports engineering solutions, the PRI Trade Show's famed Machinery Row offers race engine builders the single best place to comparison shop precision machining equipment. Over 100 manufacturers of race shop machinery have their latest machines on display and wired for live demonstrations on race engine parts.

"It's where the racing industry goes each year to get up to speed," explained Lewis. "You can feel confident you have caught up to the cutting edge of racing technology once you've shopped the PRI Trade Show."

New for 2011 is the International Pavilion. It is being designed as an inviting meeting space for international buyers at the PRI trade Show, with such amenities as interpreters, email and Skype access, meeting rooms and more. Espresso, tea and other refreshments will also be available at the International Pavilion.

The PRI Trade Show is the centerpiece of Race Industry Week 2011. Several major events co-locate with the PRI Trade Show in Orlando, including the following:

Advanced Engineering Technology Conference. It's the most respected and longest running technical seminar series for race engine builders. November 28-30.

Professional Motorsport Circuit Owners & Operators Convention. This forum for motorsports facility owners, operators and managers will discuss the development of new and existing facilities to maximize the return on investment and look at options for expanding the revenue base. November 29-30.
