(GMM) The troublesome curbs of the Singapore street circuit have been repaired by the FIA ahead of Sunday's decisive race.
With Sebastian Vettel on pole and able to wrap up the title, the governing body said changes have been made after problems arose in the practice sessions.
At turns 3, 5 and 14, 17 and 18, the curb was removed and replaced with red and white non-slip paint, spokesman Matteo Bonciani said in a statement to the media late on Saturday.
Turns 7 and 13 have been fixed with "more security fastened" curbs, whilst other repairs were made at turns 11 and 12.
"It had been our intention to replace the curb but satisfactory repairs proved impossible in the time available," said Bonciani.
