Video: Electric Car investigation ABC News reports that an electric car company that received a $529 government loan is manufacturing the cars overseas. While the assembling part of the process is done overseas, engineering and design work for Fisker Automotive still remains in the U.S.
Vice President Joe Biden was in Delaware in October 2009 to celebrate the opening of a plant that would supposedly manufacture the cars. In the above video Henrik Fisher, CEO of Fisker Automotive and Biden and give statements. In his remarks, Fisker explicitly says the cars will be built in the U.S.
