FR 3.5: Sorensen wins Spa Race 1 for Lotus

Marco Sorensen

Marco Sorensen won an exciting race 1 Formula Renault 3.5 event at Spa Saturday at Spa.

The Lotus driver took advantage on a battle for the lead between Kevin Magnussen (Carlin) and Sam Bird (ISR) to make the decisive move, and then controlled the race from there.

Jules Bianchi came home second and Bird had to settle for third.
