Kansas Speedway To Unveil Road Course In Wednesday GRAND-AM Test GRAND-AM Road Racing will help Kansas Speedway cut the ribbon on its new road course Wednesday morning prior to a special compatibility test, preparing for a perspective race event in 2013.
Three teams will test on the new configuration, which includes three turns on the 1.5-mile progressively banked tri-oval and six turns in the circuit infield.
Action Express Racing will have a Corvette Daytona Prototype for Joao Barbosa, while Bill Auberlen will drive the No. 94 BMW M3 from the Rolex Series GT division. Representing the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge will be i-MOTO, with a Cybernation Mazda Speed 3 for Ryan Ellis.
