McLaren's Lewis Hamilton topped the first practice session at Interlagos for the Brazilian GP with a time of 1m14.131s, ahead of the Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
Jenson Button was 4th in the second McLaren.
Vettel's rival to win the 2012 F1 title, Fernando Alonso clocked with a 1m14.392s for fifth fastest.
