Fans Invited to watch testing at Charlotte Feb 17-18 Round two of testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the sixth-generation NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car is coming up Thursday and Friday, Jan. 17-18, and track officials are once again opening the gates so fans can enjoy the two-day test, free of charge. Behind-the-scenes tours and concessions will be available for purchase. Plus, every fan that buys a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series or NHRA ticket in the speedway ticket office during the test will receive a free 1:24-scale diecast car. Among the teams expected to participate in the test are Hendrick Motorsports, Penske Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Richard Childress Racing and more.
Testing will run from 9:00am/et to 4:00pm/et each day, with a break for lunch at 12:00noon/et. Each day, the General Motors grandstands will open at 8:30 am/et for the public to enjoy the test session. Fans should enter through gate 5A, by the main ticket office.
