IndyCar Drivers Kick Around with Future Soccer Stars IZOD IndyCar Series drivers played soccer against some future MLS stars at IMS today.
Graham Rahal, Simona De Silvestro and Josef Newgarden kicked the ball around the yard of bricks against Carlos Alvarez, Kyle Bekker, Andrew Farrell and Eriq Zavaleta of Westfield. Zavaleta offered to play with the IndyCar drivers since they were outnumbered.

Simona De Silvestro put the drivers up 2-0 with two quick goals, but at the end of two periods it was tied 5-5. The MLS stars won with more penalty kicks.
The soccer players are in the city for the MLS SuperDraft taking place Thursday at the Indiana Convention Center. IU star Zavaleta is expected to be among the top picks in the draft. WIBC.com
