CARA has folded It is with a sad heart that we announced that CARA Charities is shutting down today. This was an extremely difficult decision, but despite having passionate supporters, we are unable to generate the financial means necessary to sustain our levels of donation.
We are extremely thankful that the role that so many of you have played to donate $4 million dollars over the years. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it. [Editor's Note: And so goes another legacy of Tony George. By creating the IRL he destroyed a once thriving IndyCar racing under CART. IndyCar is a mere shadow of its former self now and the once thriving CARA Charities is its latest victim.]
